The chief executive of Palm Beach County’s public schools has formed a consulting business and says he may start doing private consulting work alongside his public duties.

Schools Superintendent Donald Fennoy said he has no immediate plans to work as a consultant but formed a company for tax purposes in case he takes on clients later this year.

“It was really just getting the paperwork in order,” he said in an interview.

Fennoy registered D. Fennoy Consulting, a limited liability company, in January, according to records from the state Division of Corporations.
